A Ladder season runs nine weeks. Play as often as you like, at Anissa's or anywhere else, log each game, and climb one leaderboard. Flexible, self-paced, and open to everyone with an account.

A Starlit League
A game you can count on
A League season runs half a year with the same weekly session and the same friendly faces. Pick your night, show up when you can, and every game at that table counts toward your standings.
Best if you value routine and belonging.
A quick note on timing: Ladder seasons are quarterly, while a League season runs half a year, so two Ladder seasons fit inside each League season. You can join one, the other, both, or start a group of your own.

How competition works
Chase the boards, celebrate the season
Every game you play is scored. The Ladder has two boards, Points and Average: your best two games each week, and your season average. A League keeps one running standing, every game you play at your session added up all season. Every season closes with a gathering for the players who showed up. Nothing to memorize now, it is all waiting when you join free.

Points
Your best two games each week, added up across the season. A quick climb that rewards showing up and playing well, week after week.
Average
Your season average across every game, with a minimum of six games to qualify. A truer measure of steady play.
How the season ends
Every season closes with a gathering at Anissa's to celebrate the players who showed up. Here is what we are planning. The details will grow with the Society, so the more of us at the table, the more there is to celebrate.
Top of the boards
We recognize the season's leaders on Points and Average, and celebrate how far each player climbed.
Honors and recognitions
A handful of awards for standout play and good spirit across the season. The full list will be announced closer to the finish.
Recognitions and how many players we celebrate will be confirmed closer to each season's close, and will grow as The Society grows.
Season calendar
Four Ladder seasons. Two League seasons.
Over the first year there are four nine-week Ladder seasons and two half-year League seasons, with two Ladder seasons running inside each League season. Season 2 pauses for a short winter break. Sign-ups are open now, and games begin Monday, September 7, 2026.
